Farleigh Hospice is a high performing organisation providing specialist palliative and end of life care for people with life limiting illness in the Mid Essex region. Our team at Farleigh has grown and evolved to meet the changings needs of the community we serve and we are looking for highly motivated person to join our fundraising team for a one-year maternity cover role.

 

Are you a good communicator, who is organised and adaptable currently working in fundraising, sales or marketing? Are you passionate about working in the third sector and want to inspire and motivate people to support the hospice with in memory, legacy or major gifts? We are looking for an experienced person with demonstrable experience within fundraising/sales or marketing and who has relevant or recent knowledge or experience of fundraising, supporter/customer engagement.

You will be part of the Fundraising Team and will play a key role in all aspects of in memory giving alongside creating awareness of the services Farleigh Hospice provides and the importance of legacy and major gifts as income streams.

As the In Memory, Legacy and Major Donor Relationship Officer you will work with the Fundraising Manager and the whole team to increase the number of supporters and income from major and in memory donors. Leading on the relationships with those who donate in memory and who wish to support the work of Farleigh Hospice. You will be an integral member of the fundraising team and will help meet the fundraising team’s objectives within the operational plan.
